View the most important ancient and modern monuments of town during an orientating tour: the Panathinaiko Stadium, where the first modern Olympics took place in 1896, the House of Parliament and, beneath it, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, guarded by the colorful Evzones, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and many more. The highlight of this tour is a guided visit of the Acropolis, with its famous Parthenon Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture.

Life in Athens never slows down; the streets are always busy and you may even get traffic jams in the middle of the night. The Greeks love their social life, and a large part of that is dining out with friends. A drive through illuminated Athens, with the beautifully-lit Acropolis at its center, will be an unforgettable experience. Following the principal avenues and most important landmarks of the city, you will finally walk to the pre-booked tavern in Plaka, the old part of Athens surrounding the Acropolis. While tasting typical Greek dishes, with wine from the barrel, you will be entertained with live bouzouki music and a performance of traditional Greek dances. Of course, you will be invited to join in and learn a few steps.

A drive along the beautiful coastal road of Attica will take you to its most southern spot to yet another impressive historical site: Cape Sounion, with the Sanctuary dedicated to Poseidon, the God of the Sea. High on the cliff, majestically overlooking the Aegean Sea, stand several columns of the former Temple. One has a breathtaking view from here; on clear days, you can see several islands. After the guided visit, there will be plenty of time for memorable photos from the site.

1-DAY DELPHI (WITH LUNCH)
Only a few hours drive away lies Mount Parnassus, one of the best known ski resorts of Greece. On its slopes are the remains of Delphi, a place of worship and an important Sanctuary. According to myths, it is here where Zeus declared it to be the Navel of the world. The remains of the Apollo Temple are visible from afar. At its center used to be the seat of Pythia, the famous oracle, who used to advise many politicians and warriors. Findings from the site, amongst them the famous bronze Charioteer, are exhibited in the museum.
After a guided tour of the site and a visit to the museum, there will be time for a stroll in the village.
Lunch will be taken in a typical local tavern.
On the way back to Athens, there will be a short stop at Arachova, a mountain village famous for its hand-woven rugs and quilts, as well as homemade pasta, a delicious red wine, and a typical cheese only produced in the area.

From Athens, you drive along the coastal road to reach Corinth, famous for Ancient Corinth and for its Canal, which separates the Peloponnese peninsula from the Greek mainland. A short stop on top of the “Old Bridge” will give you the opportunity to admire the canal from above.
A drive through lush green mountainous areas takes you to Epidaurus, famous for its amphitheater with unique acoustics. Having visited the site and its museum, the next stop is Nauplia, a picturesque town towered by the impressive Venetian Fortress Palamidi.
A short ride through the fertile plain of the Argolis will take you to Mycenae, the former “City of Gold” and center of commerce. You can admire here the Lion Gate, the massive Cyclopean Walls, and the Tomb of Agamemnon.
Lunch will be taken at a traditional tavern.
From Mycenae you return, via the new National Road, to Athens.

Tripolis and Megalopolis, and over mountainous
roads with unforgettable scenery to Olympia,
the birthplace of the Ancient Olympic Games.
A walk by the remains of the various buildings
and over the stadium takes you back in time,
so that you can just imagine the ancient
athletes. After the site, you will visit
the museum with its impressive statues and
other finds.

Day 3: Today you will drive, via Rio – ferry – Andirio, along the Corinthian
Gulf on Greek mainland to reach Delphi, nestling
on the slopes of Mt. Parnassus. The archaeological
site, with its famous Apollo Temple proudly
overlooking the valley, reaches out on both
sides of the road. It is here, in this beautiful
green surrounding, where Zeus declared it

warriors and politicians with her prophecies.

Day 4: You will visit the site and its museum, with exhibits from the site,

Having completed your visits here, we drive
on to Arachova, only a short drive from Delphi.
Take a leisurely stroll in the village and
look out for hand-woven carpets and quilts,
leatherwear and other local products, such
as homemade pasta, red wine and a special
cheese, which is only produced in this area.
Being so close to the peak and ski center of Mt Parnassus, the village is a typical
winter resort, which is just as charming
in summer.
From here, continue via Levadia
and Thiva to Athens.

A relaxing, leisurely cruise, which gives you the opportunity to explore three of the Saronic Islands: Aegina, Poros and Hydra.
You will be picked up from your hotel for the short drive to the port of Trocadero.
Each of the islands you shall visit today has its own charming atmosphere:
Aegina, known for its neoclassical buildings and its busy harbor;
Poros, a green island, with many sandy beaches and its famous lemon forest; and, finally,
Hydra, the island of artists, with narrow, whitewashed streets-an
island for pedestrians, as no motorized vehicles are allowed here.
There will
be plenty of time for explorations at each port-of-call. Lunch will be served
onboard. In the afternoon you will be transferred from the port to your hotel.

Day 1: Via Thiva and Levadia,

we will stop at Arachova, a mountain village

as well as homemade pasta, a delicious
red wine, and a typical cheese only produced
in the area. A few kilometers further,
on the mountain-slopes, are the remains
of Delphi, a place of worship and an important
Sanctuary. According to myths, it is here
where Zeus declared it to be the Navel
of the world. The remains of the Apollo
Temple are visible from afar. At its center
used to be the seat of Pythia, the famous
oracle, who used to advise many politicians
and warriors. Findings from the site, amongst
them the famous bronze Charioteer, are
exhibited in the museum. After a guided
tour of the site and a visit to the museum,
there will be time for a stroll in the
village before we depart for Kalambaka.
We will drive, via Amfissa and Lamia, to
reach the Thessalia Plain, a rich agricultural
area. Approaching the village, one can
see from afar the impressive rocks, with
the famous Meteora Monasteries on top,
which seem to want to reach the sky.

Day 2: The morning is dedicated for a visit to the impressive Byzantine monasteries.
Towards noon, we will return to Athens,
via Lamia, with a short stop at the heroic
monument of Leonidas at Thermopile and
